Slider Windows
Slider windows have a sash that opens to the side. There are single slider windows where one side or sash slides, while the other side stays fixed. There are also double slider windows where both sashes slide side to side. Single slider windows are significantly more energy efficient compared to double slider windows.
Energy Saving Characteristics
- Multi-chamber fusion welded PVC frame and sash for better insulation
- Triple weather strip PVC welded sash
- Embedded tandem rollers
- Integrated handle on the sash
- 100% Virgin PVC extruded profiles provide many years of trouble free performance
- Double Glass Double Glass2 panes of glass separated by a spacer, filled with argon gas and hermetically sealed for optimal in energy savings. with LowE coatingLowE GlassLow-E or low-emissivity coatings minimize the amount of UV & infrared light that can pass through glass without compromising the amount of visible light that is transmitted. When heat or light energy is absorbed by glass, it is either shifted away by moving air or re-radiated by the glass surface. and standard Argon GasArgon GasArgon gas does not conduct heat as well as air making it an excellent insulator. Argon Gas filled windows also prevent a buildup of frost at the bottom of the window during cold weather with Super Spacer®Super SpacerSuper Spacer is a non-metal, structural foam spacer system, providing the best perimeter insulation for sealed glass units
